Eltham College’s young skiers showcased their incredible talent and determination at the recent ESSKIA Regional Qualifiers held at Chatham Snowsports Centre. With an outstanding performance, our teams secured their spots at the National Finals scheduled for the 7th and 8th of October in Norwich.
The event was a resounding success, with the following Eltham College skiers teams earning their tickets to the Nationals:
- Boys U12
- Boys U14
- Boys U19
- Mixed Team
But it wasn’t just our teams who stole the spotlight; individual accomplishments were equally impressive:
- Boden K (Year 11) claimed the second-fastest overall time among boys.
- Adam C (Year 12) achieved a remarkable 5th place in individual timings.
- Oscar J (Year 9) soared to the top as the fastest overall skier in the U14 Boys category.
- Henry B (Year 6) showcased his talent by securing the 2nd fastest time overall in the U12 Boys category.
- Mingzuan Z (Year 6) rounded up the success by securing the 5th fastest time overall in the U12 Boys category.
Eltham College is immensely proud of our young athletes and their remarkable achievements at the ESSKIA Regional Qualifiers. As we gear up for the National Finals, we’re excited to see Eltham College skiers reach for new heights and continue to make us proud.
