Plaster Casting Workshop with Townley Grammar School
On Wednesday 11th December, the Gerald Moore Gallery welcomed 15 Year 9 students from Townley Grammar School for a Plaster Tablet Casting workshop. This engaging session introduced students to a technique they had not previously explored, offering a unique opportunity for creative discovery.
The workshop, provided free of charge, allowed students to experiment with plaster casting under expert guidance. From preparing the materials to creating their individual designs, the session encouraged hands-on learning and artistic expression in a supportive environment.
This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering connections with the wider community by providing access to enriching educational experiences. We are delighted to have partnered with Townley Grammar School and look forward to welcoming more schools to participate in similar workshops in the future.
