Owl Workshop with Year 3
On Monday, 30th September, our Year 3 pupils enjoyed an exciting and educational workshop with some incredible birds. They learned what makes these fascinating creatures so special and how they thrive in their environments. Topics included their unique bone structures, feathers, eyes, ears, and sharp talons.
Organised with Falconry UK, the workshop captivated our pupils. Meeting and holding Meeting and holding Rocco (Pygmy Falcon), Brooklyn (Verreaux Milky Eagle Owl), Blu (Blue Winged Kookaburra), Pickle (Tropical Screech Owl), Taz (Tawny Frogmouth), and Bailey (White Faced Owl) was a hit—an experience the pupils haven’t stopped talking about!
