iSAMS App
The parent portal is also available via the iSAMS app.
The code to access iSAMS once you have put in your username and password is ELTM.
As well as being convenient the app contains additional functionality as shown in the video, including:
- Name of your son/daughter’s house, form and year group
- Full staff contact information for all subjects on your child’s timetable
The iSAMS Parent app is available to download from the Apple iTunes store for iOS and the Google Play Store for Android.
ElthamPost (emails to parents)
ElthamPost is a useful tool to help you keep on top of your school email and communications.
It is accessed through the parent portal by clicking on ‘communications’ then ‘ElthamPost’ you then need to click ‘login with iSAMS’.
You can create a shortcut on your desktop or on your phone for ease of access, as shown in the video opposite.
ElthamPost is used for the following:
- Cancellation of co-curricular clubs
- Sign up for trips and workshops
- Text messages to parents
- General letters and communications to parents including updating medical information and obtaining medical consent
- Sign up for fixtures
- School newsletters
SOCS (co-curricular information)
This platform is used for signing up to co–curricular clubs and to see when music lessons and ensembles take place.
Parents will be sent a registration link to sign your child up to co-curricular school clubs. By viewing your SOCS calendar, you will also be able to view what club your child is signed up for each term. Music lessons and ensemble information will also be available.
All information regarding club kit, collection times and location is available on SOCS, in the notes section for each club.
You can access SOCS via the Eltham College Website which will take you to the log in screen. Select ‘Parent’ or you can login via the SOCS website www.socscms.com/login where you’ll need to enter the school name “Eltham College”. You will be sent sign up details by the school.
SatchelOne (homework)
SatchelOne is the platform used across the school for posting homework.
You will be sent a parent login and your child will also need to use their own login through Office 365, the different logins have varying accessibility.

It allows you to check on what homework has been set by your child’s teacher and the submission date.
The SatchelOne App is available to download from the Apple iTunes store for iOS and the Google Play Store for Android.
SchoolCloud (parents’ evenings)
SchoolCloud is used to book both face to face and virtual parent’s evening meetings with your child’s teacher.
The login to SchoolCloud is via the iSAMS parent portal: https://elthamcollege.schoolcloud.co.uk
Even when the appointment system is closed, teachers can still add an appointment for a parent. Please send in an email to the teacher concerned to request an appointment.
Links to SchoolCloud will be sent via ElthamPost.
This will allow you to book appointments primarily with your child’s form tutor. You will also be able to book appointments for subject specialist teachers, including music, drama, science and french.
Please note that the email link for the parent meeting is always sent to the person who made the appointment. Parents can invite other people to the meeting easily. Here is a quick and easy guide.
Kura Coaches App (school coaches)
Kura is the transport company managing our home-to-school coach service.
For parents of children who take the school coach there is a dedicated app which allows you to:
- Book and cancel individual coach journeys
- Track boarding and disembarking of pupils on their coach journey
- Track the coach your child is on, using a map
- Receive notifications if a coach is late or delayed
The KURA Coach App is available to download from the Apple iTunes store for iOS and the Google Play Store for Android.
