On Saturday 29 January, Eltham College took part in the London East Heats of the First Lego League competition, the largest STEM competition in the world. With the theme of Cargo Connect, the Society of Security team from Eltham presented on their solution to keeping parcels safe when they are delivered and while reducing travel time for delivery drivers. Impressing the judges with their ideas and the quality of their presentation, they also achieved a remarkable second highest score in the Robot Game, with the hours of practice and programming really making a difference. The students excelled in how they worked together in the Core Values challenges and brought home the Core Values trophy. With four awards for Eltham in six years, we will be ready for more in 2023!
