Today, our Junior School pupils enjoyed a vibrant celebration of Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights. The morning began with a Diwali assembly, where pupils learned about the origins of the festival, its cultural significance, and the traditions that make Diwali such a joyful occasion for millions around the world.
Following the assembly, pupils took part in a hands-on lantern-making workshop, where they crafted their own colourful paper lamps using jewels and brightly coloured paper. The activity encouraged creativity and personal expression.
The workshop brought a warm and festive atmosphere to the school, with pupils working collaboratively and proudly sharing their finished lanterns.
